The gameplay is good, but what really makes it good is the pixel art, a true artist. The only problem that i see is the dots that are on the snow, i know that is the shadow, but is also very creepy to the eyes, there must be a easy way to make shadows.
How do i start?? I cant tried smashing all my buttons but it doesn't work lol?? i picked my level and i dont know what to press so help me out pls... i like the idea of the game tho!
Hahaha "Number of tricks: 1 (meh)" This is awesome!! Love the look and feel of the game. How you slide backwards if you don't have enough speed and how you can jump around or over things is really fun!
idk i love the psudo-3D look with the pico8 games. I made my raspberry pie 3 into a handheld emulator console and I would love to figure out if I can stick pico 8 games onto it. THE QUEST FOR KNOwLEDGE BEGINS
Very nice, but aren't the skis a bit wrong? If I was to turn to the right, I would put my left ski in front, not the right? And to the left side I would put the right ski in front.... Or is it too long ago I went skiing? :)

Very good. I really enjoyed playing and racing/sloping down in the snow. Relaxing game :), almost even meditational.

sorry about that - pico8 color palette is very limited, I found that dithering to best convey slope variation over snow.

gives a better sense of ‘slope’ imho - I’ll check (at ski resort atm!!)
I instinctively reacted "this is wrong!", so careful when you're skiing now! :)

No, just make it so it supports mobile. Or remove the d pad and replace it with a joystick and button.

I was thinking, sure, I'll try this out. Didn't look too interesting in a technical sense.
Then I saw the PICO-8 startup and was blown away by the fact this game can fit within a png. Absolutely crazy, awesome work. Keep it up!
Thanks - behond the png gimmick, it means that everything is done by my code (or functions shared by the community), like 3d rasterization!

No but only thanks to the previous games I made - it took something like 2 months to do (my shortest dev time!).

Actually the most difficult part was to make it fun and interesting to play.
